I hope this post finds you well and wearing your favorite pair of Dare Heart undies! Today, I’m sharing some important news about the future of our beloved small-batch underwear company. After much thought and consideration, I've decided to take a pause for the foreseeable future.
Running Dare Heart has been a labor of love, fueled by passion and determination to create high-quality, comfortable underwear that hugs your curves in all the right ways. From the beginning, I set out to deluxify an essential staple, making it something you’d look forward to wearing every day. However, the costs of small-batch production in the USA have become increasingly challenging, and crafting a quality product in limited quantities has proven to be quite costly.
One of my favorite memories is meeting many of you while stocking shelves at Plural. I remember chatting with a lovely customer who couldn’t wait for her Dare Heart undies to cycle back from the laundry. We laughed about the little things in life that bring us joy and comfort. Moments like these have made this journey incredibly special and rewarding.
I want to express my deepest gratitude for your unwavering support. Your enthusiasm and love for Dare Heart have been the driving force behind everything we do. It’s because of you that we’ve been able to embrace the idea that comfort leads to confidence and that we should all hold onto the differences that make us real, powerful, and uniquely wonderful.
Though Dare Heart will be taking a break, there may come a time in the future when I have more time, energy, and resources to devote to reviving this business.
