Shortcut to Pretzel Town

Difficulty: how to make a hot pretzel at home

There's something magical about the trifecta of sensations that happens in your mouth when you bite into a hot, crusty, chewy pretzel straight from a vendor.  We've taken a Trader Joe's product and made it taste just that good. Don't believe us?  Try it. It's real easy.

  1. Cut in half a sweet little loaf of Trader Joe's pretzel bread.
  2. Spread with butter.
  3. Broil in oven or toaster oven until golden brown
  4. Sprinkle with salt.
  5. Dig in.
  6. Don't forget the mustard and beer.

During this video blog we take a quick digression while we wax poetic about the butter bell. Soft, spreadable butter kept cool by water. It's divine. Say goodbye to hard refrigerated butter or melted counter butter. This ceramic vessel is the bomb.
